​I'm a qualified Teacher, having completed my PGCE training with Exeter & Greenwich Universites.

 

I've been teaching since 2000.

 

I'm a registered Principal Tutor with the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA).

 

I've given talks & run informal workshops on complementary therapies at: schools, PTA's, WI's, Hen Do's, , festivals, village fetes & fairs, for charities (inc' HIV / AIDS, mental health groups & trauma survivors), couples & mothers to be...to name but a few.

 

I've taught formal complementary therapy courses from beginner to post-graduate level at:

• The Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine & Aromatherapy in Regent's College, London (where I was vice principal)

• Raworth International College of Natural Nutrition & Sports Therapies in Dorking

• Exeter Natural Health Centre, accredited training centre in Devon

• Vital Touch, staff training for an aromatherapy products company in Devon

• The Sage Room, complementary therapies clinic, in Kent

• From the Seed, accredited post graduate training centre, in Brighton

I've taught advanced bodywork & mentored numerous bodywork professionals on a 1:1 or small group basis at my clinic spaces or at theirs if prefered. 

 

And on a rather different note! I spent several years travelling the world to teach another passion of mine. I worked with both PADI & SSI, lecturing in open water diving, speciality diving, sea rescue & emergency first response. As well as fund raising for marine conservation & orgainising both beach & underwater clean up events.
